Linda, I am so proud of you! I am so touched by the creation of this website. This is a meaningful project, isn’t it? Please keep me posted with the development of the site! Are those your parents pictures with you?
This is definitely a website with a difference. I love the fact that you are honoring your mom. She sure sounds lovely even at 99!
Thanks for sharing,
Evelyn
Hi Linda,
This is a great post to acquaint new visitors to your great writings. Keep up the great work.
Hi Linda.
What a great idea this welcome page is! I don’t think your new readers will be disappointed.
My mother, 79, lives with my husband and I, and I am the main caregiver for her. She is pretty active physically, but the short-term memory is fading fast. She confuses cell phones with TV remotes, dish soap for dishwasher soap, and the like. I look forward to reading more from your site to see how others are doing in their eldercare. Thanks for putting this information out there.
Yoke Wong,
Welcome to the TLeC community! Happy to see you here and thanks for the compliments. Yes, those are my parents and me at the top. More photos will be added over time. Hope you’ll check back too.
Evelyn,
Welcome also to my TLeC Community! I’ve been reading your blog and find it inspiring with its many positive thoughts. Thank you! My Mom deserves all of the tributes I’ve been giving her — and more.
Barbara Swafford,
I’m glad I did this Welcome post since I finally told my friends about my blog this weekend, along with Liz Strauss’ Blog-to-Showcase event. That’s called getting mileage from one post.
Davina,
Thank you very much!
SpaceAgeSage,
Welcome to the TLeC community, too! I will be visiting your blog shortly. I’m sorry you are seeing early signs of memory loss in your Mom. If there is an Alzheimer’s Association near where you live, contact them because they help families of people with all types of dementia, not just Alzheimer’s. They’ve helped me tremendously over the last 8 years. I will be here too if you have particular questions — just use the Contact form above and it will reach me. You are a wonderful daughter to be caring for your Mom!

Michele,
Welcome to the TLeC community. Thanks for the compliment on my blog. Maybe we’ll both win the trip to LV and be able to meet there. BlogWorld sounds awesome! I’ll stop by your blog soon. Thanks again.
