Hi Lori,

I grew up in suburbia in NY and never lived in the mountains (although I love to vacation in them now!). There is something about seeing the new spring flower shoots just breaking through the cold, barren earth that makes me think of hope and renewal. thanks for sharing your comment with us!

Beautiful. For us it is now the onset of summer. Lot of heat, dryness and dust predominating everywhere. Come June and it will be monsoon. Rain non stop rain. Then suddenly everything will turn green and the smell of the new wet soil is something that we start yearning for from now.
