Hi Linda--you beat me to the punch so I could alert you that I'd passed along your great quote in the group blog at Caring.com. I won't walk through an airport the same way again. Enjoy your site. Happy T to you too.

Dear Lance,

Thank you for your thoughts -- here and over in the jungle! :-) I'm glad you thanked the veteran -- even before you saw the video here. You have a caring heart and it shines through your words in the blogosphere. Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!

Hi Linda,
I loved the video - what a great reminder to thank those people in our lives who deserve it! Just three days ago, we had a gentlemen come back to work who had been in Iraq for about a year. And, I did feel awkward - what to say - should I say nothing - etc. Then I thought, why not say something. It wasn't much - a simple thank you for protecting us - and a handshake. And it all felt right and good.

Linda, thank you for being here - for writing and sharing your thoughts - and for brightening my days!

In this season of Thanksgiving - I have so much to be thankful for!

Welcome to the TLeC community! Thank you for your kind words. I also read your comment on Lori's blog, and yes, indeed you are a loving caregiver & husband. I read the post you linked to, and I agree 100%! I will pop back over there soon and read more.

Dear Davina,

I'm glad your friends were there for you this year, and I hope the coming year brings you peace, love, happiness and prosperity!

Hi Linda. That was a moving video. Thanks for sharing. Who will I be thanking this year? All my friends online and offline, who have supported me through a difficult year.

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.” ~ Melodie Beattie This video gets a two thumbs up from me!
