Sometimes it’s so much easier to hide but there’s always that terrible underlying feeling of guilt. And guilt being a such a wasteful emotion is better avoided don’t you think?
Great quote – for anyone. Sometimes it’s hard to face our issues/concerns/opportunities – but if we don’t nothing changes. Easy to say, but not always easy to do.
@Dr. Cason – Yes, I try not to “should” all over myself to keep the guilt to a minimum. Thanks for stopping by.
@Ann – Thanks for the compliments and I will be visiting your blog, too! Love the title of it alone — it intrigues me!
@Lance — I totally agree about easier said than done, but at least we’re trying our best. And even being aware that we’re “hiding” is a healthy start. Some people never even reach that point. Thanks for your comment. Will check out your blog, too.
@Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to add your insight. Look forward to visiting your blog as well.
I’m so excited — this is the most comments I’ve had since I began blogging a few weeks ago! WOO HOO!!! Thank you all!

Hi Linda,
I like the part “nothing can be changed until it is faced”
Very true, and inspiring!
The second part is my favorite line, too.
I like both lines.

Oh! and thanks for visiting me!
Hi Linda,
The photos are wonderful and your blog is a breath of fresh air – a loving look at a serious issue.

I love the quote. Until we bring something to consciousness we will never know to change it or make the effort.
