    Hi Linda,

It’s been too long…since I’ve been here. It’s good to be back.

I love the Lena Horne quote – we all have extra “loads” we carry in our lives sometimes – burdens, pains, suffering, sickness, etc. This says to me that how we carry those loads makes a difference – and I really do believe this. We cam make the best of what we have to work with, or we can make the worst of it…

Wise words. The first one was a friend’s email ending tagline for a long time, but she’s feeling better now and uses this quote instead: “Those who dance are considered insane by those who can’t hear the music.” – George Carlin.

    Hi Lance,

Welcome back! Yes, you’ve been MIA, but I know you’re super busy with family, work, blogging, etc. “We can make the best of what we have to work with, or we can make the worst of it…” Yes, we each make that decision on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis. You and I both like to put a positive spin on life’s happenings, don’t we?

    Hi Lori,

Oh, I love George Carlin and miss his humor and insight into the human condition. Thanks for sharing — I hadn’t heard or read that one! Glad your friend is viewing things in a brighter light, too.
