Hi Linda – What a great reminder to everyone. As each day passes, we get older. Too often, others don’t see it happening to “them”.

Linda, this is so true, and yet something we forget sometimes – it’s happening to all of us. Thinking about this I think, brings more compassion.

    Hi Lori,

I need reminding myself! We always think things happen to other people, not ourselves.

    Hi Barbara Swafford,

I jokingly say as our son gets older, we’re getting younger . . . . we wish!!

    Hi Lance,

You raise an excellent point about making us even more compassionate. Also, as I go through the cargiving experience, I am taking notes on how I want to be as a care recipient some day, hopefully to make it easier on our son.
