In January: Caregiver Thoughts of the Day
For the month of January, I will be posting a Caregiver Thought of the Day on the Tender Loving Eldercare Facebook Page. There will be a variety of tips, strategies, quotes and support for family caregivers in bite-size daily chunks.
Hop over to the TLeC Facebook page, hit the “Like” button at the top of the Page and for the thoughts of any day you like. Please add a comment if you’re so inclined. I’ve also started a few discussion topics in the Discussion section for your participation. Let’s have a dialogue there, too.
I will be posting new articles here, but the Caregiver Thought of the Day will appear daily through January only on the Facebook page. See you there!

Linda, I would dearly like to visit FB, for this very worthwhile cause, but as you probably know by now, I rarely visit FB as, if I do, I will get stuck! Here are two thoughts that are particularly important for caregivers.
“BETWEEN STIMULUS AND RESPONSE, THERE IS A SPACE.
IN THAT SPACE LIES OUR FREEDOM AND OUR POWER TO CHOOSE OUR RESPONSE.IN OUR RESPONSE LIES OUR GROWTH AND HAPPINESS.”
- Viktor Frankl
“The key neurobiological source of emotional commitment is, the ability to live ones own deepest values in a relationship or environment.”
- Stan Slap

Dear rummuser,
Sorry you’re not a regular Facebook user but I totally understand — that’s why I will continue to post in both places, both here and there.
Thank you for sharing two wonderful quotes that caregivers, indeed everyone, can learn much from! I appreciate your time and contribution to our community!
