Hi Linda – That photo is priceless. Can you imagine seeing that at the local blood bank?. Great funnies for Halloween. :)

Dang! Linda, this is about a week too late for me! These jokes would have been perfect for a group of cub scouts I had in a meeting — ok, so I’ll say I’m just planning way ahead for next year! These are fun!

    Hi Barbara Swafford,

Thanks! My husband Jeff (in the photo) is one of the funniest and creative men I know.

    Hi Lance,

Sorry these were too late for this year’s cub scout meeting. You actually taught me something valuable by this comment — post earlier for holidays, rather than on the actual date itself. So, thank you — I will post sooner from now on.

Hello Linda. I’m a little late for your Friday post! This last one struck me the funniest! I hope you had a good Halloween. I don’t celebrate anymore as I’m older and don’t have children. And, living in an apartment, there aren’t any trick-or-treaters either. This is one holiday that kind of passes me by. My favourite holiday is Springtime :-)

    Hi Davina,

I’m happy any time you stop by. Yes, Halloween isn’t the same now that we’re empty nesters. Our neighborhood has also grown up and I only buy one bag of candy now to give out instead of multiples! Far less trick-or-treaters ringing the bell.

I still like Halloween, because it is the one holiday where even adults come out of their shells by dressing up — those that do dress up, anyway!

Hi Linda. That’s a good point you made about adults coming out of their shells by dressing up.
