Hi Lori,

Wow -- sorry it's taken me so long to reply to the comments here. I must be 100% in summertime mode. Your ebook and blog are exceptional and I am happy to help spread the word in the blogosphere and beyond. Yes, us NY-ers are known for our excellent verbal skills.;-)

Hi Barbara,

Until I read the ebook, I never really considered using my voice as a weapon -- this was one of the important tips Lori taught me.

"Too often we get lazy with our own security and that’s what can get us in trouble." That is so very true. Thanks.

Dear rummuser,

From the photos I see on your blog, I'm sure no one would want to mess with you or Ranjan when you accompany your father out in public. You both look strong!

Linda, I can only use my voice due to my bust hip joints! I simply do not let my father out of the house without either me or Ranjan to escort him wherever he wishes to go, which is not much any way.

Hi Linda,

Great review!

I, too, have read Lori's book. Like you I found it fabulous and to the point. Too often we get lazy with our own security and that's what can get us in trouble.

I love the part where she teaches us to use our voice as a weapon. I've heard stories where that has potentially saved a person's life.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for presenting this information and perfectly tailoring it to aging parents!

I found myself nodding my head "Yes!" at your New York Inner Warrior skills because some of the toughest ladies I know -- who could verbally cut any bad guy down to size in 30 seconds flat -- hail from New York.
